Fix your fulfillment. Pick the right 3PL. Grow without getting burned.

I spent 9 years inside a 3PL. Now I help product brands sort out fulfillment, find the right logistics partner, launch in the US, and get sales moving. You get someone who knows how 3PLs really work, on your side of the table.

The Problem

Great products die in bad fulfillment.

Most product brands don't fail on the product. They fail when orders ship late, costs creep up, or the 3PL stops answering emails. By the time it shows up in reviews, you've already lost customers.

01

Your 3PL isn't working

Missed ship dates, wrong orders, surprise fees, and slow answers. You signed a contract you didn't fully understand, and now you're stuck with it.

02

You don't know your real cost per order

Pick fees, storage, packaging, kitting, accessorials, and minimums add up. Most small brands can't tell you what one order actually costs them.

03

You're entering the US and don't know where to start

Warehousing, freight, customs, retail requirements, and finding a 3PL you can trust from overseas. One wrong pick can cost you a year.

04

Sales stalled while you fought fires

When the founder runs operations, customers, and sales at once, new business gets pushed to next week. Every week.

What I Do

Hands-on help from someone who's worked the warehouse side.

I've seen how 3PLs price, quote, staff, and cut corners. I use that to protect your margins and your customers.

01

Fulfillment Fixes

Find out why orders are late, wrong, or costing too much. Clean up processes for picking, packing, kitting, and returns so they work as you grow.

02

3PL Selection and Vendor Management

Decide if your current 3PL can be fixed or needs replacing. Build the requirements, run the search, compare quotes line by line, and negotiate terms that protect you.

03

US Market Entry

For international brands launching in the US. Plan warehousing, choose fulfillment partners, map retail and channel requirements, and set up operations before your first big order lands.

04

Sales and Business Development

Once fulfillment is solid, grow revenue. Define your best customers, build target accounts, open retail and wholesale doors, and set up a sales process you can keep running.

Who I Help

Built for product brands at a turning point.

Strong fit

  • Product brands selling online, wholesale, or retail
  • US brands with small teams, usually under 10 people
  • International brands of any size expanding into the US
  • Companies that kit, bundle, or sell subscription boxes
  • Founders who handle operations and sales themselves

Especially useful when

  • Your 3PL keeps making mistakes or raising fees
  • You're about to sign with a 3PL and want a second opinion
  • You can't say what one order really costs you
  • You're launching in the US and need a partner on the ground
  • Volume is growing faster than your fulfillment setup
  • Sales slowed down because ops ate your time
How It Works

Find the leak. Fix it. Then grow.

STEP 01

Diagnose

Review your orders, costs, 3PL contract, inventory flow, and sales goals. Find where money and customers are leaking.

STEP 02

Fix

Clean up fulfillment processes, renegotiate or replace your 3PL, and get your cost per order under control.

STEP 03

Launch

Set up US operations, new channels, or new partners with a plan, so nothing breaks on day one.

STEP 04

Grow

Build target accounts, open new sales channels, and keep fulfillment strong as volume climbs.

Client Results

Real problems. Real fixes.

A few examples from my years leading business development for FSI. Client names stay private.

Retail suppliers | Consumer product company
Problem

Their 3PL kept making mistakes, and major retailers hit them with chargebacks. The 3PL saw the account as a hassle.

Fix

I built SOPs aimed at the causes of those chargebacks. I also set fair pricing so the account got real account management.

Result

A fulfillment setup designed to stop chargebacks at the source, with a partner that wanted the business.

Rising costs | Consumer product company
Problem

Warehouse rent, labor, and shipping costs all jumped at once.

Fix

We moved their fulfillment to an alternative location closer to their customers and out of their high-cost labor market.

Result

Lower shipping costs and lower labor fees.

Holiday kitting deadline | Corporate employee gift program
Problem

This high-profile program shipped kits of 3 to 7 items each year. One year, products arrived late from production, eating into the build window.

Fix

The team rallied and built every kit on a compressed schedule.

Result

Every kit was delivered on time, despite the late inventory.

US operations | European brand with a US warehouse
Problem

On-time delivery was slipping, and staffing issues were dragging down their US warehouse.

Fix

We moved their US fulfillment to a reliable 3PL solution.

Result

Deliveries and sales back on track.

Point of View

You should never be the least informed person in your 3PL negotiation.

3PLs negotiate contracts every week. Most small brands do it once every few years. That gap costs real money. My job is to close it, so you know what good looks like, what to push back on, and when to walk away.

About

Meet Gifford Pace

20+ years in business development. 9+ years on the 3PL side.

I'm Gifford Pace, founder of Keishin Growth Partners.

For more than 9 years, I led business development for FSI (Fulfillment Strategies International), an Atlanta 3PL serving DTC and consumer packaged goods brands. I scoped and priced pick and pack, kitting, inventory management, and omnichannel fulfillment. I walked brands from the first call to a signed contract to go-live, and stayed with them as they grew.

That seat taught me how 3PLs quote, where the hidden fees live, what a fair contract looks like, and which brands are truly ready to outsource. Now I put that knowledge to work for you.

Before logistics, I spent 7 years at Valassis running marketing programs for Fortune 500 retail and CPG advertisers. I also sold B2B fintech at GreenSky and advised business owners as a financial advisor. I hold an MBA from the University of Memphis and a BBA from Mississippi State.

I'm based in Marietta, Georgia. Outside of work, I own and teach at Marietta Aikido Center. Aikido teaches you to stay calm under pressure and resolve conflict without breaking things. That comes in handy in a 3PL negotiation too.

FAQ

What brands usually ask.

Are you a 3PL or a broker?

I don't run a warehouse, and I work for you. My job is to get you the right fulfillment setup and the best terms. If I ever have a referral relationship with a partner I recommend, I'll tell you up front.

Can you help if I already have a 3PL?

Yes. Often the fix is better processes, clearer requirements, or renegotiated terms. If the 3PL can't get there, I'll help you plan a clean switch.

How do you help international brands entering the US?

I help plan your US fulfillment, find and vet 3PL partners, map channel and retail requirements, and represent your brand here so you're not managing it all from another time zone.

Do you help with sales too?

Yes. Most clients start with fulfillment because that's where the pain is. Once orders flow smoothly, we shift to growing revenue through new accounts, channels, and partners.

What size companies do you work with?

US brands are usually under 10 employees. International brands entering the US can be larger.

How do we get started?

Book a 30-minute Fulfillment Health Check. We'll look at where you're losing money or customers, find the quickest win, and decide if working together makes sense.

Fulfillment Health Check

Find out where your fulfillment is costing you.

In a focused 30-minute call, we'll review six areas that decide whether your operations can support growth:

  • Order accuracy and speed: Are orders going out right and on time?
  • True fulfillment cost: What does one order really cost you, all in?
  • 3PL fit and contract terms: Is your 3PL the right size and fit, and does your contract protect you?
  • Inventory, kitting, and returns: Is product flowing cleanly, or piling up and going missing?
  • US market readiness: If you're expanding, is your US setup ready for real volume?
  • Sales and channel growth: Is anything holding back new revenue?

You'll get a one-page scorecard with your biggest risk, your quickest win, three recommended next steps, and whether outside help makes sense.

No pressure. Just a straight conversation about your operations.
